wow...
ok so the image is (to me anyway) very unique and i very much appreciate the work and talent that went into it...
the words in the description? oh so very sweet. i love the mood and the reference to hell raiser (a movie which i had been frightened by as a younger me...but recently have come to very much enjoy)...

but...my mind is having trouble making a connection between the image and the text. the facial expression to me, looks like one of hope, wanting, or even loyal servitude. i suppose this may be due to your limited range of expressions in your stock. or it may be that our minds associate things in slightly different ways.

either way i do not mean to be bashing you in any way. i love deviantArt that makes my mind start moving. so many of the images on here are simply "pretty" or really don't appealt to me at all...so congratulations on stimlating my neurons

Any and all critiques of my manipulations are coveted the more honest the better it's the only way I can improve , your correct the hope or the wanting to escape the torments of hell there are passages in the bible that make numerouse referances that people will be able to look out and see what it is they have rejected heaven this is a just a summation to something I had studied,and I didnt take this as a bashing in any way I appreaciate critiques of this nature

i agree with the first comment... even though this is a beautifully done piece, his expression makes him seem more enraptured than suffering. maybe he LIKES the pain?

the text on this one hit very close to home as at the moment... well i'll just say i sinned and have now lost the one thing that means anything to me, my heaven. i disagree with some of the critiques above that it doesn't make sense that the model looks hopeful or wanting. it makes perfect sense even if you didn't intend it to. now he knows what he is missing and he will forever be looking at what he wants most in the world as an outsider. he can see it but can't have it. but because he can see it he is looking in want or hope however irrational that hope may be. its the only way he can survive. and you know he's enduring pain because of what is happening to his body. i think this one worked very nicely.

outch... But anyway, it's wonderful...
